Dr. Jennifer Suss, DVM is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine and completed a small animal internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital. A Bergenfield, NJ native, she founded Bergen Veterinary Hospital in 2012 after 10 years at Bloomingdale Animal Hospital.
Dr. Suss is passionate about client education and high-quality care, with special interests in pain management, dermatology, ophthalmology, and internal medicine. She has volunteered at Van Saun Park Zoo and serves as president of the Northern NJ Veterinary Medical Association.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her husband and three children.
Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with a complete in-house laboratory, digital radiology, oxygen lines throughout the hospital including an exam room, adjacent to cages in our treatment room, our isolation ward, treatment room, surgery prep/dental suite, surgery suite, and x-ray room.
